Melissa Dyer has been a massage therapist since 2001. Educated at the Blue Cliff School of Therapeutic Massage in New Orleans, Melissa had the opportunity to be associated with the doctors and therapists at Touro Hospital while practicing in the Alternative Therapies Center on the Hospital’s campus. This allowed Melissa to receive regular referrals from the emergency room physicians, acupuncturists and Touro doctors. Melissa also worked closely with the clinic in Touro specializing in treating patients with chronic pain issues.

Melissa’s Deep Tissue and Sports Massage modalities skills were developed through performing sessions with athletes, both professional and amateur including NFL and MLB players. She also worked with marathon runners, bicyclists, Ironman and Half-Ironman competitors and a variety of other sports enthusiasts.
